Terms and Conditions Apply.

  1. All active and current principal and supplementary C-I-M-B Platinum and Gold cardholders get FREE access to C-I-M-Bs partner lounges.
  2. The following are permitted to access the complimentary airport lounge:

    C-I-M-B Gold MastercardCardholder only

  3. C-I-M-B Gold cardholders, who wish to bring one or more companions and/or C-I-M-B Platinum credit cardholders, who wish to have 2 or more companions, shall be asked to charge the airport lounge entry fee to his/ her C-I-M-B Mastercard. The additional fee that will be charged to the cardholders C-I-M-B credit card is subject to applicable foreign exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Such additional fee shall be determined by C-I-M-Bs lounge partners, which may be change by such partners from time to time.
  4. To access the affiliated lounge, C-I-M-B Gold and Platinum credit cardholders shall present the following:
    • Active GOLD or PLATINUM C-I-M-B Credit Card,
    • Boarding pass,
    • Passport.
  5. The C-I-M-B Gold and Platinum credit cardholders shall provide the following information in the logbook/record of visit:
    • Name of cardholder
    • Credit card number
    • Flight number
    • Date and time of departure
    • Name of guest (as applicable)
    • Signature of cardholder
  6. In the event that the lounge personnel shall fill out the logbook/record of visit for and on behalf of the C-I-M-B credit cardholder, the C-I-M-B Gold and Platinum credit cardholders shall sign the logbook/record of visit to confirm the correctness of such filled-out entries.
  7. The access to the Complimentary Airport Lounges is a privilege, the eligibility of the presented C-I-M-B credit card should be validated as a condition of entry. The partner lounge shall verify the eligibility of the presented C-I-M-B credit card through any of the following means:
    1. Swipe RM1.00 transaction to the presented C-I-M-B Credit card at the Point of Sale (POS) terminal of the lounge for the validation that the card is in ACTIVE status, which transaction shall thereafter be voided and no amount shall be charged to the cardholders account. The lounge personnel shall advise the cardholder of the approval of the said transaction.
    2. OR Call the C-I-M-B Customer Service (+632) 82828888 to confirm the card status of the presented C-I-M-B credit card, which may entail a reasonable waiting period. Inactive card will be activated at point of call while past due cards shall be denied entry to the lounge.
  8. Access to the airport lounge shall be discontinued if the C-I-M-B cardholders account is cancelled, blocked, or downgraded to any ineligible card type.
  9. The Complimentary Airport Lounge Access is limited to C-I-M-Bs participating airport lounges only. As the feature is only a privilege of C-I-M-B GOLD/PLATINUM Credit Cardholder, C-I-M-B makes NO guarantee that the cardholder or its guest/s will always be accommodated in the partner lounges at the time of visit under any circumstances such as peak season, space constraints, improper attire, space renovation, disorderly conduct and other reasons. C-I-M-B will not be held liable in such cases that the access to the partner lounge is denied.
  10. During peak season or renovation period, Lounge Partners have the sole and absolute discretion to direct the C-I-M-B Credit Cardholder to any of its accredited airport lounges. However, C-I-M-B shall not be held liable to shoulder any charges that may be incurred by the C-I-M-B Platinum and Gold cardholders, in such instances that a Cardholder elects to avail of other airport lounge facilities not otherwise free of charge.
  11. All participating airport lounges are not owned or operated by C-I-M-B. C-I-M-B cannot guarantee that any privileges, benefits or facilities under the Airport Lounge Access Program will be made available by the participating airport lounge to cardholders and their companions. C-I-M-B will not be liable for the insufficiency of any of the advertised benefits and facilities under the Airport Lounge Program.
  12. In case of dispute on the C-I-M-B Platinum and Gold cardholders eligibility to access the airport lounge, this shall be resolved by C-I-M-B, and the latters decision shall prevail.
  13. In case the C-I-M-B cardholder has committed any fraud, abuse or any unauthorized actions, or if the cardholder violates the general terms and conditions governing the issuance of C-I-M-B cards, C-I-M-B reserves the right to disqualify the cardholder to avail of the Complimentary Airport Lounge Access.
  14. C-I-M-B Credit Cardholders and their respective guests/companions must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the partner airport lounges. Each lounge partner has the discretion to request or require a guest to be removed from the airport lounge area, in such event, that the subject airport lounge guest displays unruly behavior, or becomes a nuisance to other lounge users.
  15. C-I-M-B shall not be held liable to the cardholder or his/her companions for any loss or injury suffered by them while inside any of the participating airport lounges
  16. The Complimentary Lounge Access is not valid on top of other discounts, privileges, vouchers or any other promotions of the AIRPORT LOUNGES. This feature is non-transferable and not convertible to cash and other credit, or other goods and services.
  17. C-I-M-B reserves the right to terminate the Complimentary Airport Lounge Access credit card feature at anytime, without due notice to any of the C-I-M-B Credit Cardholder.
  18. C-I-M-B may amend, revise, or modify the Complimentary Airport Lounge Access Terms and Conditions from time to time, , subject only to such manner of publication or notice that C-I-M-B shall deem fit.
  19. The Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the C-I-M-B Credit Card continue to be applicable.
